A 1990s American ECCLISSI quartz wristwatch with a 925 silver case.
Features an elegant case and dial design, paired with a soft brown leather strap.
I was drawn to its aesthetic, which is somewhat reminiscent of the HERMES Cape Cod.
Unlike my other ECCLISSI model, this one includes a date display feature.
The date is shown through a small window right at the 6 o'clock position. Very stylish.
This piece is also equipped with a high-quality Japanese movement.
Unlike mechanical watches, quartz watches do not need to be wound daily; just set the time once, and it is ready to go.
There may be minor variations in timekeeping, so please check and adjust it from time to time.
As with mechanical watches, you adjust the time by pulling out and turning the crown, but please be aware that turning it while it is pushed in can cause a malfunction.
Additionally, when adjusting the date, you must turn the crown for two full rotations (24 hours) to advance the date by one day.
Please be very careful not to turn it in reverse to set the time, as this can cause damage.
If the watch is stopped when it arrives, try giving it a gentle shake or leaving it under light for a while.
*Quartz watches do not require overhauls and are more resistant to shock, making them easier to use for daily wear than vintage mechanical watches; however, the battery will eventually need to be replaced. Please note that for battery replacement, you should take the watch to a jeweler or watch repair shop.
