What a lovely piece of clothing.
Actually, my eyes were first drawn to the unique waist construction, and then
the red frills caught my eye.
I think it is genuinely very cute. It’s not flashy at all. It doesn’t have that unpleasant "too retro" feel either.
It’s a wonderful black and white cotton fabric, and
the way the pockets are attached is also elaborate and very cute.
They are cut out in a circle and piped with white fabric.
The waist area is a design feature rather than belt loops.
At 167cm tall, the length hit just above my ankles.
