I'm sad right now because Pizzicato Five's "Twiggy Twiggy" isn't on Spotify. I listened to Maki Nomiya's version for the first time, but it was a completely different song. Lol.
Surprisingly, this is the first time I'm introducing a women's black PVC piece.
It's a hard-to-find vintage item in good condition and with a good fit.
This one is in excellent condition, the fabric is sturdy, and there's no sign of cracking anytime soon.
I think it also helps that it's lined with durable cotton. It's a very high-quality piece of old French PVC.
The wrinkles smoothed out nicely by using a steam iron on the lining side on a low setting. Just to be safe, please use a pressing cloth at first.
For care, the label says to wipe it clean with a damp cloth.
The size is on the smaller side, but it's strangely stress-free to wear.
It has a decent amount of width, with plenty of range of motion in the arms and shoulders, which I think shows off the wonderful pattern-making techniques of French clothing.
Unless you're wearing something very thick, you should be able to layer various items underneath.
A perfect outer layer for the coming season.
