suggesting it was made by a tailor of high-end women's clothing that worked with furs and the like.

It is woven using wool yarns of various thicknesses and colors, all centered around pink,
and if you look closely, you can see it has been finished with colorful neps.

The pockets might look fake at first glance, but there are slits hidden under the flaps.
Choosing not to make them simple is very French in a—dare I say—eccentric way. Haha.

I wore a thin cut-and-sew top underneath for the photos,
but I felt that by adding a thermal layer and a knit sweater, it would be perfectly fine for the dead of winter.
