A hand-crocheted gown I found at a market in Germany.
While I occasionally come across crochet dresses and tops,
this is the first time I've seen a hooded gown. Great design!
The silhouette when worn, as well as the balance of the hood size and sleeve width, are all wonderful.
The color scheme is also lovely; I was drawn to this palette, which you don't often see in clothing.
Apparently, it was hand-knitted by the grandmother of the girl who was selling it,
so it's authentic German granny crochet. Haha.
It's quite loose-gauge, but because it's made with thick, fluffy acrylic yarn,
I think it will be perfect for throwing on over a T-shirt on those cool nights in the coming season.
