It’s strange, but I don’t think you find knitwear with this kind of sizing in vintage shops.
It’s the sort of thing that only happens when it was handmade by chance, and this is one of those pieces.
It has a wonderful, true one-size-fits-all oversized fit, and the knit itself is made of plush wool with a nice, substantial weight to it, and that slouchy, coarse, low-gauge look is just perfect.
The color is a rich, expressive black with hints of charcoal and grey.
With a simple color like this, I feel like it's actually quicker to find something like this new. I’ve only recently found a knit brand I really like myself, but it’s still best when you can find something vintage that is perfect in shape and everything else.
