Made of Indian cotton as sheer as gauze,
it’s so thin you’ll barely feel it on. I think it weighs less than 100g.
A recommended material that allows you to stay very comfortable even in Japan’s intense heat.
The botanical pattern with a deep green base is lovely.
The top has a shirred back, and the waist features black piping with a drawstring that lets you cinch it to your own size.
However, it also looks interesting worn loose for a trendy low-rise silhouette.
The uniquely shaped skirt is sewn into four pouch-like sections. It’s hard to describe in words, so I think the last four photos will explain it better.
And though it’s hard to see, there are two pockets at the waist deep enough to fit your whole hand. It’s a welcome feature, and it’s wonderful that they’re so big.
Indian cotton was something you saw often in the past, but I feel like the supply has dwindled recently and it's becoming harder to find. Especially dresses.
