It is truly stunning.
While it can simply be called a kaftan dress, this kaftan is in a league of its own.
Beyond the beautiful embroidery, the design of the button slits on both the sleeves and the hem really captured my heart.
You can wear them open or closed, creating a perfect balance between skin exposure and design.
And remarkably, in a very rare feature, it has pockets at the waist.
I had never seen one like this before. They are deep enough to actually hold a mobile phone.
Also, while many kaftans are made of polyester or rayon,
this one is made of a high-density, durable cotton that is as thin as a shirt.
It is dyed a beautiful cobalt blue, with a slight unevenness that gives the fabric a wonderful texture.
The collar is left open, so you could even stitch it to your preferred depth.
