A beautiful bright golden-yellow tailored jacket from Italy, circa the 80s-90s.
"Oh, what a lovely colored jacket... wait, huh?"—I had to stop and take a closer look at these rather unusual details.
Slim lapels, pockets that follow the hem, and a strap at the neck.
"Ah, handy for when your neck gets a little chilly, right? Sure, sure." ...As if! (Haha)
Why on earth would they add that? But it’s a uniquely Italian piece of clothing.
Actually, that strap(?) tucks away neatly as a collar when you unbutton it.
The lining has a very thin quilted cotton layer, so it's warmer than a standard tailored jacket.
But it doesn't affect the look or the feel, and the silhouette is very beautiful. I highly recommend this jacket.
There is some slight pilling on the back, so I've priced it at a super cute price.
