kaftan dress

A caftan dress I fell for because of its color. I came across it recently in Paris.

An energetic, vibrant color scheme I want to wear for the coming season.

I love clothes like this, and I love the people who wear them, too.

Because caftan dresses come in such a wide variety of materials and designs,

it's quite a hurdle to buy them for the shop,

but this piece, in addition to its coloring, has a wonderful, silky fabric that drapes beautifully,

and with the loose fit typical of a caftan, it’s a material you can wear comfortably through spring, summer, and autumn.

And when I discovered it had pockets on both sides, I actually said "Thank you!" out loud.

No, really, pockets are so important, aren't they?

Maybe I'm just getting older, but I find that I don't wear clothes without pockets myself,

and I’ve started to feel that I don't want to feature them at TOTO either.

Of course, there are plenty of amazing clothes that have nothing to do with that.

Since it’s a dress, you're obviously going to be carrying a bag anyway,

and you don't want to ruin the silhouette by stuffing things in there,

but it’s just very important to have a place where you can stick your hands. Haha.

It’s been a while since I found a caftan dress that hits so many personal marks of what I consider "great" and covers all the important points.

As is usually the case, the buttons might be a little stiff to fasten or unfasten at first,

but rest assured that they will loosen up and become easier to handle with repeated use.

It has been washed once.
