I wore them with their original early-2000s low-rise fit, but since they have belt loops, you can also wear them sitting properly at the waist.
I found them in France, but given the cargo pockets, the low rise, and a slight rave-wear aesthetic, I suspect they might be German. They are definitely European.
Depending on your monitor, the product photos might look a bit uneven in color,
but the actual item is a beautiful solid khaki green, just like in the modeled photos. It’s closest to a military khaki.
The hem straps are adjustable, and I think it looks cute even when left undone.
