Late 1970s Iceberg × J.C. de Castelbajac wool sweater

Amazing design.

Every once in a while, European clothing like this pops up that is exceptionally interesting.

I've never seen an Iceberg this cool before.

Looking into it properly, it seems the brand was founded in '74, and the JC de Castelbajac on the tag is a French designer who apparently served as Iceberg's design director from '76 to '87.

I see—I looked at this designer's own brand as well, and it was great.

There's a zipper running across the X, and the bottom part is a pocket; it can be accessed from both sides. If you lower the top zipper, you can wear it with a draped, hanging look.

The high neck is also cool; you can fold it down, or unbutton just one side to wear it as an asymmetrical collar—the versatility is high.

The quality of the knit and leather is also excellent, making this an incredible piece.

I want to wear this out and put it through its paces.
