It is rare to come across such a vibrant light blue in vintage clothing,
and I have truly never seen a trench coat in a spring-appropriate material like this before.
Among the many beautiful vintage pieces out there, this one is truly striking.
Made of "TRAITE," a dense, crisp, high-quality cotton-poly-like fabric.
The tag states it is iron-free, shrink-resistant, wrinkle-resistant, and quick-drying.
I did iron it because it had a few wrinkles, but it really did dry instantly.
In addition to the belt, it comes with a matching bandana made of the same fabric to protect you from sudden rain.
Such exciting accessories. A set that lets you channel the look of a 60s screen actress you've always admired.
Honestly, even though it goes against current trends, it feels fresh and sophisticated when worn today.
It has a playful touch in its color, yet remains a chic coat with that unwavering French sense of style.
It repels light rain, dries quickly, and is wrinkle-resistant, making it perfect as a raincoat as well.
And for over 60 years, it has remained completely unworn with the tags still attached.
Even for deadstock, materials like this often develop small stains or fading along the creases over such a long time,
but given how well it has been stored, there is absolutely no damage at all.
It was sourced from a Parisian dealer who used to be a stylist. I have to take my hat off to them.
