1997 French-made Levi's 501.
A fantastic silhouette with a beautiful, well-preserved blue color.
It really is the ideal 501.
I’m a huge fan of these French-made 501s from this era. Same goes for the UK-made ones.
It’s hard to pinpoint exactly why, but maybe it’s the tension of the denim—
whenever I put them on, I always think, "Ah, this is the silhouette I’ve been looking for." Haha.
And I find myself saying "I want to keep these for myself" 100% of the time. Haha.
They are a W26L30, but since they’re denim, they’ll stretch even if they feel tight at first, so they should be fine for those who usually wear a 27-28.
They also look great worn with the top button undone.

The hem has been altered and taken up by about 4-5cm. You can return it to the original length by removing the stitching.
Sorry that a crease appeared during the photoshoot—I didn't notice it at the time! Please also take a look at the photos with the boots, where the hem is fixed.
