An incredibly, unbelievably cute London vintage piece.
It has a beautiful carpet-like pattern in pile fabric. Girls will seriously scream over this. (lol)
With its design featuring a cut under the bust, psychedelic-leaning colors,
and being made of terry cloth, which was popular as resort and loungewear back then, I'd place it in the late 70s.
Honestly, a dress of this caliber, and British to boot... it’s super rare.
The sleeves with large armholes and the wide boat neck
make for a relaxed fit, which is great for the intense heat.
Best of all, it absorbs sweat since it’s towel fabric.
