It’s super simple, but... it’s one of those black pieces that just feels right.

I'll explain below under the brand details, but this is an item I've been interested in for a while. For some reason, the timing for stocking it never worked out, so I kept passing on it, but I finally found this piece during my recent buying trip to France.
The fabric is interesting; I initially thought it might be a soft, thin rubber material, but it's a unique blend of 48% cotton and 52% polyester that feels swishy yet smooth, with a rubber-like texture.
The weight is mid-range, so I think it would be tough to wear in the dead of winter. It will be incredibly useful for spring and autumn.
It’s understated, but I highly recommend it.

MA.STRUM was established in 2008 in partnership with the Massimo Osti Studio.
That's why there’s a "Massimo Osti Archive" tag on the inside, and it features many simple but interesting pieces that reflect Massimo's designs and philosophy.
It’s a brand that still exists today and is quite popular in Europe; I see people wearing it often. Especially at soccer stadiums, haha.
It's cool that that culture has been carried on, too!
But to digress, it seems this partnership has ended. Since the partnership lasted until 2014, the actual period for MA.STRUM's Massimo archive is a very short span from '08 to '14.
I love these little historical details. Haha.
It might not mean much to some, but I actually come across these during buying trips sometimes, and there are many more cool pieces from this Massimo archive period.
The fabric has a certain quirk to it—it’s hard to put into words—but overall, it made me realize once again what a great designer Massimo Osti was!
