A beautiful glass bowl/ashtray from 1960s-70s Czechoslovakia.
I fall in love with it every time I see it. It features the beautiful, colorful marble patterns unique to Czech Bohemia Glass.
Among many pieces, I particularly loved this one for its vibrant, almost psychedelic coloring.
With its uneven curves and colors infused into the thick glass, it is a beautiful object that shows different expressions depending on the viewing angle and how the light hits it.
This bowl contains purple and yellow set against pink, along with touches of blue.

I am always overwhelmed by the thick, rounded glass and its substantial weight.
Rarely, even professional antique shops mislabel these as Italian Murano glass, but
this is unequivocally a piece of Czechoslovakian art glass.
It makes a wonderful decorative piece just by being placed somewhere, in addition to being used as a tray for keys, accessories, or even for serving sweets.
I have managed to acquire a collection of Czech glass for the first time in over six months, so I am releasing them all at once.
Bohemia glass is becoming truly harder to find with each passing year; it is an important piece of Czech history that I hope will be cherished.
