I fall in love with it every time I see it. It features the beautiful, colorful marble patterns unique to Czech Bohemia Glass.
With its uneven curves and the color embedded within the thick glass, it is a beautiful object that shows different expressions depending on the viewing angle and how the light hits it.
This bowl is based in green with deep brown, pink, yellow, and a hint of blue.
I particularly love its overall dark color palette and compact form.
It features the unique, bold coloring and organic, streamlined form typical of Bohemia.
I am always overwhelmed by its thick, rounded glass and solid, substantial weight.
Rarely, even professional antique shops mislabel these as Italian Murano glass, but
this is unmistakably Czech glass art.
It is perfect for holding keys, accessories, or small items, as a candy dish, or simply as a stunning decorative piece.
I have managed to acquire a collection of Czech glass for the first time in over six months, so I am releasing them all at once.
Bohemian glass is becoming harder to find with each passing year; it is an important piece of Czech history that I want to cherish.
