At first glance, the fabric looks like it has a heavy texture, but in reality, it is a smooth, lightweight polyester.
It’s not thin or crisp; it’s a very soft, lightweight, slightly crinkled material.
It’s lined and, given its original intended use, it’s built very solidly. It was actually almost too hot to wear indoors. It should be perfect for early spring with just a T-shirt underneath, and also ideal for the rainy season.
Just describing the craftsmanship and construction shows how truly charming this piece from NIKE is. I imagine it must have been quite expensive when it was originally sold.
This item dates from the 2000s or later, but NIKE has consistently used high-level technology to create genuinely cool clothing that fits the era, so I want to keep paying attention to them in the future.
