A nylon racing jacket so rare it stirred up quite a debate. Lol
To start with the construction, it features a thin nylon shell with a thin, padded nylon lining that can be attached or detached via a zipper.
For starters, it's interesting that it's a racing/biker-style jacket made of nylon rather than leather.
Also, it seems like it was originally designed as a 3-layer jacket, with an actual shell that went on top of this.
In other words, this black jacket is two pieces acting as one lining. Lol
It’s a bit complicated, isn't it? I worry that having so many photos might be confusing. Lol
But! Putting all those intricate details aside, it is an incredibly cool black nylon jacket.
When worn as a set, it’s plenty warm, yet the padding is thin enough that you can still wear an oversized jacket over it. Worn as just the shell, it’s a light jacket, and the lining on its own is not only cute, but can also serve as a liner for other jackets.
I’ve included photos of just the shell in the 4th image, and photos of just the liner in the 5th and 6th images. All other photos show it worn as a shell-liner set. The product shots show the shell and liner individually.
This silhouette, true to its racer/biker roots, is so cool. I recently listed a red biker leather jacket, and I’m reminded again of how much I love this three-dimensional sleeve construction. The silhouette when worn is just great.
The asymmetrical velcro design is also a nice touch.
It's a men’s XS, which fits like a women’s M-L.
I’ve written a lot about the peculiar and rare construction, but it’s simply cool, so I highly recommend following your intuition on this one!
