oversized tulle parka brand-new made in Croatia
A special parka from a brand-new Croatian brand.
It appeared before us after circulating as dead stock.
Featuring an oversized black zip-up hoodie as its base,
it is draped entirely in a voluminous, airy layer of tulle
creating a large, puffed bomber silhouette.
It comes with a handwritten tag, indicating a retail price of €280 (approx. 44,000 yen). The intricate craftsmanship makes this price entirely understandable.
The hoodie base itself is constructed with double layers,
and I can only imagine how difficult it was to then add the tulle layers on top.
For the double-layered body, the inner layer against the skin is a cotton/poly/elastane blend that is soft and slightly stretchy, while the outer layer to which the tulle is attached is polyester.
This double-layered, tulle-adorned parka is very warm, and its relaxed fit allows for plenty of layering underneath.
The zipper used is a VISLON zipper, often found on items from brands like The North Face. It is incredibly durable and sturdy, and it is wonderful how it has been incorporated to avoid catching on delicate materials like the tulle.
A meticulously crafted handmade piece from an up-and-coming Croatian brand. I believe this is a one-of-a-kind item you won't easily find again.
