This is the MK4, the successor to the British Royal Air Force's MK3 jacket.
The design remains the same, but the fabric has been updated to Gore-tex.
It appears to have been issued starting in 2010.
I had known about its existence, but I encountered one for the first time last year.
I was struck by how much the Gore-tex changes the overall feel of the jacket.
It is incredibly modern and cool.
It’s not some flimsy Gore-tex, but a substantial, high-quality material.
As expected from the military—the British military. Their national strength is impressive. This is seriously the best!
The lining features a slightly thick cotton, so it should be fine even in midwinter.
I feel this is a perfect update; I tried it on and it’s great—I want it.
A piece you will definitely reach for heavily.
There is a zipper under the collar at the back that opens up the entire rear panel, where a hood is stowed.
The collar looks great folded down, or you can use the buttons to wear it standing up.

Also, this time the size is a 6, which is on the larger side.
Since it’s designed with a shorter length, it’s easy to balance, making it a truly flawless piece.
It’s not heavy, and I highly recommend it.
