This is the MK4, the successor to the British Royal Air Force MK3 jacket.
The design remains the same, but the fabric has been updated to Gore-Tex.
It appears to have been issued since 2010.
It’s amazing how much the vibe changes just by switching to Gore-Tex.
It is incredibly modern and cool.
It’s not thin, flimsy Gore-Tex, but a substantial material.
Typical of the military, and the British army at that. Their national power is incredible. This is truly the best!
The lining is cotton, so depending on how you layer underneath, you could even wear it in the middle of winter.
I’m especially happy with this sizing because it allows for some versatility.
I felt this was a perfect update; every time I try it on, I think, "This is great," and I want it.
A piece that you will definitely get heavy use out of.
The collar can be worn flat, or since there are buttons, it looks cool worn standing up too.
