RAF mk4 gore-tex - sz 8

This is the MK4, the successor to the UK Royal Air Force MK3 jacket we previously stocked.

The design remains the same, but the fabric has been upgraded to Gore-tex.

I picked this one up during my recent buying trip to France; it seems they have been issued since 2010.

I knew they existed, but this was my first time seeing one in person, and it’s incredible. I was amazed at how much the atmosphere changes just by switching to Gore-tex.

It’s very modern and looks cool.

It’s not a thin, flimsy Gore-tex, but a solid, substantial material.

As expected from the military—the British military. Their national resources are impressive. This is truly the best!

The lining is made of a slightly thick cotton, so it should be fine even in the middle of winter.

I feel this is a perfect update; I tried it on and it’s great—I want it for myself.

I would definitely wear it all the time.

There is a zipper on the back of the neck; if you open it, the entire back area serves as a compartment where a hood is stowed.

The collar looks great whether you lay it flat or button it up to stand it tall.

Also, this one is a size 8, which is quite large.

Since it’s designed with a shorter length to begin with, it’s easy to balance, making it a truly flawless piece.

It’s not heavy, and I highly recommend it.
