It’s made of a thin, soft, and comfortable cotton fabric, and it has been dyed black by its previous owner.
With its massive hood and a silhouette that is intensely wide but relatively short in length, Russia really excels at this design.
The hood features two drawstrings; tightening the one at the neck cinches the shoulder area, making it easier to wear. Best of all is the design of the cuffs: they feature mitten-style covers meant to allow for the use of a weapon even in cold weather. There is a proper opening to slip your hands out mid-way, so you can wear it with or without your hands inside the mittens. There are also strings there that can be tied.
