Simply great fabric.

It feels like a coarse-knit blend, probably wool or wool and cotton,

with a sturdy, rugged, and natural texture.

It’s a fabric with a slightly exotic vibe, reminiscent of a Mexican parka.

The design features stripes created by freely arranging thin khaki-green and fuzzy pile fabrics over a coarse, mustard-colored knit.

It feels like a fabric that would be difficult to knit from scratch, and with no tags at all,

I found myself wondering about its origins

and concluded that it might be a remake from a large piece of fabric, like a tablecloth or curtain.

The piping on the collar is also incredibly beautiful,

though it has a slightly handmade feel,

using a shiny, satin-rayon-like fabric in a matching tone.

The sleeves and hem are knitted separately and attached to the body.

I really get excited by pieces like this.
