A special handmade wool poncho.
I found this in Berlin a few months ago and have been waiting for the weather to turn cold so I could finally wear it.
The two-tone blended melange knit looks like chocolate chip ice cream,
and if you look closely, it's a characterful wool fabric with colorful flecks.
It is handmade from a single piece of that wool,
with red piping along the edges and colorful, satin-like palettes—perhaps rayon or viscose—on the chest and back.
It's original and just so cute! And it has such a confident vibe—it's the best.
Contrary to how it looks, it weighs only about 1kg, so it's not heavy, yet it kept me perfectly warm even in Prague when the temperature was below 10 degrees Celsius.
The armholes are cut wide,
so when I wore it indoors, I was able to layer a fairly thick cotton knit underneath with plenty of room to spare.
You can even wear it over thick wool knits or light jackets.
