Special Hunting jacket. 50s-60s

Introducing a special hunting jacket.

I'm tapping away at my keyboard, wondering where to even start explaining this one. Haha.

It has no tags whatsoever, but I believe it’s an Italian or French hunting jacket from the 50s or 60s. Personally, I lean toward Italian.

The reason is, about four or five years ago, back when I was in charge of buying for my previous employer's shop, I bought a piece in France that was uncannily similar to this one. That was Italian, and from around the same era. This one, however, exceeds that one in quality.

Regardless, this hunting pocket is so distinctive that it hasn’t left my mind since then. Haha.

I just happened to come across it on my last buying trip to France. It gave me chills.

I was like, "Finally found you!" Haha.

My wife actually found it. Truly, a victory of having no expectations. Haha.

Returning to the product description, this piece is just wonderful. Truly speechless.

The fabric, color, size, silhouette, design, and condition—everything about it is top-notch. It’s unfair!

First, about the fabric—the outer shell is incredible. Judging by the feel, I suspect it’s cotton sateen. It’s high-density with a slight crispness and a subtle sheen. It’s a light ounce but very durable and high-quality fabric. It’s insane. Haha.

And above all, this color for a hunting jacket. It’s between black and gray.

You usually think of beige for hunting jackets, so this color is rare. It instantly changes the vibe. Plus that fabric... it’s unfair! (Second time saying that.)

The lining is also wonderful. It’s lined with old cotton material and is well-constructed. The color of the lining in the sleeves is nice, so it looks cute even if you roll them up.

It has a lining and plenty of pockets, but it’s honestly not heavy at all, which is a great feature.

It’s light.

Next, regarding the pockets: the characteristic pocket on the back is divided into two sections by a center partition. (Please see the third photo.)

From the front hip pockets, you can access a separate space from the back pocket I just mentioned, known as the "game pocket" (a space for storing hunted game). Both hip pockets connect to it. It’s hard to explain in text, so please check the photos. (Photos 7-11.)

This space called the game pocket is often tattered or showing signs of hydrolysis due to its intended use, but there’s none of that here—it’s in truly great condition. Haha.

It’s fantastic.

As for the sizing, it’s about a men's XL. But the length isn't too long; it has an exquisite length that’s shorter than a half-coat. It’s elegant and matches the fabric, color, and design perfectly—it’s just cool.

Depending on how you layer underneath, you can wear it through spring, autumn, and winter.

This is just a ridiculously cool piece of vintage clothing.

When it arrives, you’re going to be surprised and think, "Wow, this is cool." Haha.

I can’t recommend this enough.
