I'm stunned, absolutely stunned—this is the jacket I've been waiting for!!
A cotton jacket from the CP Spring/Summer 1987 launch.
It’s such a shame I can't show you the actual piece, but it is an incredibly cool garment. The atmosphere it radiates is truly something else.
First, the fabric goes without saying: a crisp, high-density cotton. It is incredibly light.
It’s hard to put into words, but it really is a wonderful fabric.
The dedication of early CP and Stone Island to their fabrics is extraordinary. I'll spare you the long story, but if you ever get the chance to read a book on them, I highly recommend reading it cover to cover—it's all documented in such detail!!
On top of that, this color is just too sexy.
The buttons, their color and material, are great—honestly, everything about it is perfect. Haha.
It creates this soft, airy silhouette that almost feels like a sea breeze, all thanks to this specific fabric.
It’s quintessential Italian design. Haha.
The waist is adjustable, and for some mysterious reason, there’s a pocket divided into three sections on the center back of the interior. I’ve included photos of it worn inside out, so please take a look.
The condition is outstanding, and while I’ve washed it once, I suspect it might be deadstock. Even if it isn't, it’s clearly only been worn a few times.
This is among the top-tier pieces I’ve ever handled from CP.
To start with, finding CP pieces from the 80s has become nearly impossible compared to about five years ago when I first moved to Europe.
Plus, 80s CP has a somewhat vintage feel; while the modern impression is categorized as "tech" or similar, this has a completely different, cooler vibe.
It’s so hard to explain, I know. Haha.
Personally, I believe this is true CP—this is Massimo’s vision.
I absolutely, truly love this normcore look that lacks any aggressive branding. I’ve been in love with it for a long time.
It’s functional, easy to wear, or strictly speaking, comfortable to wear—and on top of that, it’s so cool that once you put it on, you’ll be hooked.
This is the kind of clothing we should cherish.
I genuinely believe this is a piece that only this brand could create—something you won't find in typical vintage or thrift stores.
I cannot recommend this jacket strongly enough.
