When I came across this 1995 safari jacket from C.P. Company, I was struck by its incredible presence, and sure enough, it was C.P. These are the kinds of finds that get me most excited.

While the design is one that has been fully exhausted in the fashion world, this piece feels a cut or two above the rest.

First, the fabric—a high-density cotton-nylon blend that feels crisp yet soft.

Because of this, the relaxed silhouette, the way the shoulders drop, and the shape of the sleeves are simply superb.

The waist pockets are also slightly wider than usual, wrapping around toward the back.

The pattern under the arms is unconventional, too—really interesting.

I'm also glad it's unlined; it makes for a light, effortless feel.

It’s also cool how it embodies a normcore aesthetic with zero branding, yet the buttons and overall vibe scream C.P. Company. Those in the know will definitely do a double-take—I know I did. Haha.

I love this side of C.P., which is quite different from their Stone Island approach.

I usually never wear beige clothing, especially on my upper body, but I’d wear this with pleasure.

A piece for the connoisseur—I hope you can appreciate it as much as I do.
