This is a piece I really fell in love with at first sight; it’s one of my absolute favorites.
A long wool coat in a deep navy. It features a detachable hood.
Amidst its simplicity, the meticulous design and beautiful pattern quietly stand out. So, first, please take a look at the photos. Take your time.
The fabric is wool, with a high-quality, substantial feel similar to suit fabric. The lining is made of lustrous viscose.
The hood can be attached and removed via three buttons at the collar; it's a great size that fits comfortably over the head. You can wear it up when it's cold or wrap it around your neck like a scarf,
and when you’re not wearing it up, it looks great draped in front. A bit like a priest’s robe.
This piece also shows its true worth when you remove the hood for a collarless look.
The clean, normcore design is honestly just way too cool.
It looks great thrown on loosely, and also looks good buttoned up with the front overlapping diagonally.
The back design also features the same buttons as the front, with double-layered fabric.

With dolman sleeves and a loose fit, you can comfortably wear thick items like knitwear underneath.
It also looks incredibly cool worn by men.
It dates back to around the late 80s or just before the 90s, and it’s a maker I’ve never seen before.
These kinds of casual "special" finds are what truly excite me the most. It’s a very fine garment.
