Swedish military snow parka. From around the 70s.

It’s truly great no matter how many times I see it. Haha.

This time, it has the shortest length of any we've had in stock before!!

I personally found this length to be quite easy to wear. The body width is generous, making it roughly an XXL.

I think most people will be able to wear it just as they imagine.

This photoshoot only features a 174cm male model, but please check the links below to see past arrivals for photos of women wearing them. This current item is almost identical to those except for the shorter length, so it should be easy to use them as a reference. I've listed both of the two items we have in stock.

Although it is a snow camo piece originally designed for the military to wear in snowy mountains,

this ice-gray hue—not stark white—is unique to the Swedish military.

It features high-quality, crisp gray cotton poplin accented with the trademark large white buttons and white stitching.

Looking at it again, it’s a sophisticated, urban garment that hardly looks like military gear at all.

Since it was designed to be worn over other layers, it has an intentionally loose, oversized fit,

so it looks great on anyone, from women wearing it loosely to larger-framed men.

The fabric is thin yet durable and firm.

It's light enough to throw on even in summer if you want to avoid a sunburn.

Given its original purpose, you can also layer an inner down jacket underneath to use it as a winter outer layer.

Also, while many snow parkas have pass-through pockets to access the clothes underneath,

the fact that this one has large, independent pockets is a huge appeal of the Swedish military version.

The large pockets and the three buttons on the flaps are its trademark.

Unlike khaki or camo, this white snow military gear is easy to incorporate into everyday outfits.

I’ve personally cherished mine for a long time, and I am reminded once again what a wonderfully well-designed piece of clothing it is.
