A Swedish army tanker jacket that has been garment-dyed black, with additional black paint applied to the back and graffiti on the front waist pocket.
I was drawn to its unconventional nature.
As for the graffiti on the waist pocket, if you look closely, there are many tiny human faces.
It's interesting.
There is some white text on the inside neckline, which I believe is the name of the remake brand or something similar. I haven't looked it up, as it’s cool enough that it doesn’t really matter.
The way the lining is dyed is personally very appealing to me; only the sleeves aren't fully dyed, leaving the original green visible. Wearing it inside out is also a cool look.
Even in its original green, this tanker jacket is plenty cool, but having it dyed black and customized in various ways makes it even more sophisticated. It is truly awesome.
It has a slightly punk feel to it, and also a touch of archival quality.
Also, I tried wearing this again for the first time in a while, and the shape is incredibly good. The sleeves are angled forward, giving it a great side silhouette. The cotton fabric is also superb—high-density yet soft.
