It has incredible presence all on its own. A sexy necklace.
It features a design where the links get larger towards the center;
while thin chains like this are common, this thickness and design are very rare.
I happened to acquire two nearly identical pieces in terms of design and length from the same person in France this time.
Since this is also quite rare, I recommend buying both, as twisting them together makes for an even bolder, tougher look. Haha.
This piece was quite worn and had developed a dark patina, which I have deliberately left unpolished.
The depth of this tarnish is irresistibly cool. Simply the best.
Its country of origin is unknown, but it is a European vintage piece; a "900" hallmark is visible on the clasp part, though it is slightly crushed.
The clasp is in perfect working order!
