A varsity jacket from a comedy club in New Jersey, USA.
The back is embroidered, with a black body and sleeves, and dark purple ribbing.
It's incredibly nice; the leather on the sleeves is high quality and in great condition, the ribbing is in good shape, and since a spare snap button was found in the pocket, I suspect it might be deadstock. However, I have washed it once!
The size is marked as M, but it fits more like a men's L. A varsity jacket in this size—not too big, not too small—looks really cool.
It's warm enough that you could get through the winter if you layer underneath. That said, it’s not overly heavy, so the weight is just right as well.
It’s from around the early 2000s, and since the club still exists, I looked it up and it seems to have been founded in 2004, so this might be a rare piece from the early days. Haha.
It has high ratings on Google Maps, which caught my attention. If I ever have the chance to visit NJ, USA, I’d love to stop by. Haha.
