There are stamps on them, but I haven't looked into them deeply.
Regardless, the cotton fabric is high-density and has a slightly crisp, dry texture.
Tony (23), who has been helping us out lately, was here while I was shooting these shorts, so I asked him, "What does your generation think of shorts like these? How do they come across?" He said, "Wouldn't it be better if they were below the knee?" I asked, "Oh really? Why is that?" and he replied, "Because above-the-knee feels more mature."
