The material is cotton, and it is a very high-quality, soft fabric. As expected of military gear!
I also like the subdued tone of the green.

Regarding the condition, the mesh netting has become loose and has a large hole, but this does not cause any issues when wearing it, and since it ends up bunching up anyway, it is not noticeable.
There are no problems at all, but I am mentioning it just in case!
