Valentino wool yarn knit from around the 80s-90s.
A cute wool jumper with a rounded silhouette,
featuring a Doraemon-style pocket and a purple base.
I thought this knit was adorable, and when I checked the tag, I realized it was Valentino.
It really challenged my previous image of Valentino. In fact, this is our first time stocking it.
It’s a special knit made using original yarn from Valentino i Filati,
a line of yarn that Valentino used to sell (now discontinued).
Based on a randomly textured purple knit with colorful neps scattered throughout,
it features a bi-color design with a slit collar and a pocket on the front in a purple shade close to navy.
The length is short with a very generous body width, and it has batwing sleeves,
so it can be worn by a wide range of sizes from S to L.
The sleeve cuffs are made smaller and are ribbed upon closer inspection.
The hem has loose ribbing, so it doesn't cinch tightly.
There is no material tag, but it is wool, and the low-gauge knit is not itchy.
It has been washed once.
