I suspect this was originally part of a set with matching trousers.
However, the jacket on its own is more than cool enough to stand on its own.
Pair it with some casual trousers, layer a T-shirt, knit, or hoodie underneath, and finish it off with a pair of low-key sneakers.
This is my favorite kind of style.
Having worked at a major dress shop in the past, followed by five years at a vintage clothing store brimming with humor and love, I can tell you that proposing this kind of style is truly difficult.
I often hear people say that styling a jacket is difficult, but I don't think you need to overthink it.
And I believe this was meant to be nightwear. Yeah.
