Vintage Czechoslovakian interior design magazine "Bydlení" 3-piece set

"bydlení" is a Czech interior design magazine that has been published since 1979.

This particular issue was sold in the 1980s.

Most of what we know about Czech furniture, interior culture, and the context surrounding it, we learned only after coming here, but the one thing we can say in a nutshell is that it’s just "incredibly cool"—and it’s a deep kind of cool, at that.

I truly think there is so much fascinating culture here, born from art created in a somewhat somber country, influenced by the aftermath of war, and shaped by being a landlocked nation.

Czech design fits remarkably well in modern-day Japan, offering just the right amount of pleasant contrast.

This is an interior design magazine from that very country.

Since the cover and back designs are so wonderful, one option is to use this magazine as an interior decor piece, but personally, I’d love for you to actually read it.
