Workwear made of a moist, soft black PVC material.
Likely from East Germany, circa 1970s-80s.
I’m so grateful to have found a piece with such a pared-down design and this specific fabric, especially considering it’s soft and hasn't deteriorated.
It may be a niche perspective, but finding uncompromising vintage PVC is truly difficult.
That said, this particular piece has a tear on the lower back; you could leave it as is, or if it bothers you, I recommend taking it to a local repair shop.
Lastly, what I love most about it is that it isn't heavy.
That was an introduction to one of my favorite jackets.
