Made of a lightweight cotton material, but it's a sturdy, tough fabric.
The waist is a bit large, but it sits well on the hips; if you're concerned, these would look great worn with suspenders. The length is also a bit long, but surprisingly, they looked cool even worn as-is; I’ve included a photo of them folded inward at the hem, so please take a look.
Personally, I would just snip them off with scissors.
They look ordinary at first glance, but I love this kind of vintage item that has a little quirk to it.
