This is one of my favorites; I almost don't want to part with it.
I am not sure of the country of origin, but this is a vintage European 800 silver long chain.
The intricate design of each individual chain link and the heart-shaped hook clasp are truly adorable.
I think the unusual length actually works to its advantage. It looks great worn over a sweatshirt or knit, or tucked inside to just peek out a little.
For women, it can just barely be wrapped twice to wear as a choker, and it also looks cute wrapped around the wrist.
Above all, the engraving on the two types of chain parts is irresistible. The black lines even look a bit like niello.
The heart has been polished to a nice shine, while the chain has been left with its vintage character, rather than being overly polished.
Unisex. Highly recommended.
