vintage wool-acrylic knit vest

An absolute favorite vintage vest.

It is an old handmade piece, and based on the fabric and how the lining is attached, I estimate it to be from the 60s or 70s.

The material is a resilient acrylic-wool knit jersey, similar to adidas items from the same era.

I’m in love with this navy and white color scheme. The deep V-neckline is crisp and beautiful.

The boxy, almost square silhouette and the box-cut shape of the back collar are also excellent.

It looks lovely from both the front and the back. Highly recommended.

For now, try pairing it with a turtleneck or long-sleeve tee, and when it gets warmer, definitely wear it on its own.
